    Default Golden Plover

No, not an American Golden-Plover, but a Black-bellied in the light reflected from the golden condos of Little Estero. Question: to keep the object in front of the bird, or remove it? What do you think?

love the green-blue-green layers beneath the bird. i'd probably take out the object, but its probably fine either way. --Tim

Sharp, neat pose, awesome techs - I like this a lot, Bill.
Given how clean this image is otherwise, I would remove the two darker objects in front of the bird.
Was the eye naturally this bright?

Very sharp, great pose and love that eye! Super nice low angle, beautiful BG. Yes, in this case I would remove the object in question. If it was a sharper shell of bit of vegetation then I would have kept it.

I like the BG color and the raised leg. Another vote for removing the black thing in front of bird!

Bill, Great pose, HA, exp, background colors and raised foot. I would definitely get rid of the object (two of them) on the beach. The main reason is that they are oof. I would also clean up the three white spots around the feet. Just infront of the raised foot, underneath the foot he is standing on and behind the leg he is standing on.

I really like the perspective! Great catchlight. I'm fine with the dark object in front of the bird if it's natural rather than a debris, but it's definitely better to clone it out like what everyone says.

Bill, Nice pose with the raised foot. I like the image quality and details. The eye looks a little light. I might add a tiny sliver to the bottom. Awesome background! The OOF stuff doesn't bother me -it seems natural.

Hi Bill, good low perspective, and I do like the pose with the raised foot. The BG colours compliment the plover nicely, and I would remove the object, and add a touch to the bottom.

Thank you all for the comments. Seems like a majority vote (but not unanimous) for removing one or more objects. I wish I had more room at the bottom; this was 90% of FF, with no room below, although I suppose adding canvas could be an option. Yes, Sidharth and Denise, I did brighten the iris just a bit. I hoped to keep it looking natural, but since both of you noticed it, I guess I went too far (again).

Great picture. Nice BG. Lifted foot makes it little extra. I will not remove the darkness
