    Default Long billed Corella II

Another Long billed Corella - this time running towards me. Once these guys have settled on the grass and are busy digging up the ground they are easy to get close to.

    1d MK 4, 500mm + 1.4 ext, 1/1000 @ 5.6, 500ISP. Manual. Cloned out a distracting bit of the BG top right.

    Thanks Tom

This is definitely my favorite of the 2. I like the pose, the fact that you can see the foot and the light. Good low angle,
    Gail

Lovely exposure and pose. What a bird! That paw looks just as powerful as the beak.
I'd move him just a bit to the left if possible.

Neat pose here, and it almost appears you may have had a treat for it! I do wish for a catchlight, but nice light and colours

Nice low light, bkgd and pose. Love the raised foot. I would put him a little off center and move him slightly to the left, leaving a bit more canvas on the right side (if you have canvas left?).

Very nice shot. Excellent low angle, lovely warm light, great pose, and excellent detail.
    Well done.

No treat but these guys are very tame - I did notice people feeding them bread - big NO NO - the other day.

Great character well caught !! Tom !! Agree with suggestion by Clemens :"put him a little off center and move him slightly to the left, leaving a bit more canvas on the right side (if you have canvas left?)"
    Best regards
    Rod
