I'm not 100% sure that this is a Golden-fronted but it seems it is the closest I could find (there seems to be a lot of variation in this species). Origionally I thought it was a Yucatan Woodpecker but there should be golden bristles circling the base of the beak. I got this shot on the island of Roatan, Honduras early January.

Cropped about 20%, cloned out a bright spot in the top right corner
I am not familiar with Honduran birds. This looks more like a Red Bellied to me (although the white bars on the tail aren't visible here).
I'd post this at the About Birds forum. The folks there should be able to help.
Neat eye contact and I like that the foot is visible showing that great grip.
Good comments made so far. I see what looks like a drop of water in the green behind the bird. I would clone that out.Good composition and head angle. A bit of fill flash would have been your friend here,

Great shot Mike! I agree with the above. Probably needs a bit more brightness, may be a bit more saturation to bring out the colour. Might want to clone out that mosquito behind the bird. Otherwise it's great. Lovely feather details and natural catchlight.
