    Default Curlew at Ft Desoto

First time I have seen one. I was walking on the beach and had to run back to my car to get my camera. I took several shots before another guy scared it off. Quite pleased.

On of my favorite birds. Lovely soft light and nice low angle. Sharp and nicely composed.
A bit more dof would have worked too. TFS.

Nice capture Allan. I have seen them but was never able to make an image. Like the colors and filtered light with the overcast sky.

Great shot!!! I really like the pose, real nice light, great detail, and love the water drop at the end of its bill.
    Well done.

Thanks for the comments. I went back to the locations twice without seeing it again. I will try some more but I feel quite lucky to have been there.
