    Hi Cheryl,
I really like the diagonal perch and the soft muted BG. I also like where the warbler is perched. I wonder if you could tease out a bit more detail in the blacks. I think the crop has affected the feather detail in the bird a bit. Good call on the F8 as the tail is nice and sharp,

Good looking bird and cute pose. Even though the warbler is small in the frame I really like the composition as is with the nice diagonal perch. Good idea about the blacks.

It's a sweet image of a sweet bird. You did well with that dappled light and I like the unusual composition and position of the bird. Looking out of the frame rarely works, but nicely done here.

Thanks Gail and yes I agree about the blacks and I did lift them a little already. I wish I had a tad more ss too as I am only guessing I used a tripod.
    Thanks Dave and Grace

Excellent perch and composition Cheryl. Yet another species I have not seen.

Hi Cheryl, I like the image design, and Im glad you didnt crop off the perch LRC. The blacks and yellows go well together on the warbler, and I like the pose.

I like the shot very much, the format is very pleasing. I agree with previous comments, would also suggest taming the highlights top left corner.

I like this one Cheryl for a lot of reasons. First it is very difficult to get one of these in the open, they like the thick stuff and are very skittish. I like the perch and the bg and the bird looks good to me. I think that you have to be very close to this bird to get any detail in the feathers. I have them on my property every summer but have only been able to get distant shots of them.

Nice work catching one of these little guys. One of many warbler species that has eluded me. I love the pose and the diagonal perch. Good comments above.
