Nice design of a potentially awkward pose and size of the bird in the frame. Love the effect on the bird but not crazy about it on the background.

It looks like the bird posed for you--how convenient! I like the processing--just enough, not too much, and subdued colors. The only suggestion I have is to add a bit of brightness or color to the eye so it stands out a bit more. Nice work!
