The snake eagle considering their size is one of the most silent hunters I have ever come across . They Dive on their hunt without making any noise, even their wing flapping is done so quitely that the snake who are quick to escape into their nearest opening/ hole find it difficult to get away as they are caught unaware. The other birds I know off that are good in this technic are the Black shouldered kite and the kestrel but they are much much smaller in size.

    Regards,

    Kiran.

Great exposure, flight pose, sharpness, and bg. There looks like a catchlight on the pupil and it looks a bit strange imo.

Intense look - nice light and details even on the underside of the bird. Can you tell me how you had your AF set up - single point set up?

Killer sharp and killer light and BKGR. Bummer about the worn feathers and heavy molt. Love the look in its eye. See the contest info sticky at the top of Avian....
