Frank, I like the composition, the head angle and the raised crest feathers. some areas look a little hot.

KD stole my critique. Love the look back HA and the raised crest. Neck looks hot-a Linear Burn might help. Try starting from scratch and re-converting with no RGB values in the WHITEs greater than 230. (Use the Recovery Slider to get there...)

Prabir and Sachin, If you like an image, please let us know what you like about it. We try very hard to avoid becoming just another "great shot" forum and we need your help. Thanks .

lovely pose and sweet light, I agree with toning down the chest area a bit (red channel)

Thank you all for the feedback.
Now, I've reduced the highlights and the red channel, I think, so it looks better.

Gorgeous bird, beautiful light and lovely head turn. I'm looking at the repost on my crappy work monitor, but I would tone down the hot areas selectively without darkening the entire image.

The repost is an improvement though possibly a bit overdone as the WHITEs are a bit grayed out. As I have learned through personal experience it is a fine line :).
