Hi Mork, lovely soft light, and well timed to capture the outspread wing with the preening. Colours are spot on, as is the overall sharpness, and I like the simple perch. Tiny buggers, arent they.

Hey Morkel, excellent detail, light, and I love how the perspective illustrates just how compact those powerful wings are. Nicely done on this lovely bird and those amazing colors.

Awesome image Morkel. I like everything about it except that it isn't mine. Maybe someday.

Stunning light and details, Morkel. Love seeing the behavior and against such a lovely BG which truly compliments your subject. It's not always about the flight shot!

Looks nice Morkel! I like that the wing is fully outstretched for the preen. Good colours and fabulous BG (love the blue to green transience). Not crazy about the blunt ending to the perch, but I really dig the simplicity of the image design.

There are many nice photos of this bird. I liked this very much, because it is different. To make things different it's hard, but when you succeed is very good

Thanks folks. Can't say that the perch bothers me...better for photographing them than the bunched reeds you normally find them perched on
