Love the moody sky BG Brendon, and they way he's resting nicely in the V of the rock, good use of fill flash with him popping nicely
Do you have any more room on the right? would wish to see a little more of his right eye, but not a huge concern.

Nice to see one in cool blue surroundings for a different look. Also like the way the legs are falling over the groove in the rock.

Brendon - nice pose and separation from the bg, almost looks like a studio portrait . Did you blur the bg in pp? I see a slight blue cast in the whites on the inside of the legs below the chest.

    I agree with the above.

I would have preferred a bit more room on the right.

Hi Brendon, would agree on the above, but my question is, why did you use Centreweighted Average for the metering?

    cheers

Agree about the nice blue sky giving it a different and refreshing look. Very nice protrait. A little head turn would have been a boost in a number of ways.

This isn't the leopard TJ (Tyson Junior), son of the famous Tyson from Okonjima is it?

Thanks all for your great comments, agreed i to see a light blue cast in some of the whites and perhaps an hint of magenta too. Steve i use center weighted average quite a lot when shooting AV, most of my images shot with canon are either center weighted average or matrix, i find they work well for me and most wildlife photography.

Interesting Brendon, might try it next week, however no sure how it copes with Backlit subjects as I use a different method, but happy to change if it gets the results.

Based on our discussion, this was my thinking, however I will say, I also take Tom G's POV here too, (we all see things differently), look at it in PS,but this is just taking/adjusting some simple colour channels, WDYT?

To me, albeit subtle, the eyes look cleaner, the rock looks warmer rather than cooler, perhaps the yellow or a channel in there could also be reduced too based on the head, it just all comes down to personal preferences.

    - Removed the blue in the whites of the chest
    - Reduced the magenta in the blue of the sky
    - Reduced the magenta in the red channel on the head
    - Added a fraction of black/neutral to the body

Thanks very much Steve, indeed i see and improvement in the whites and the black help it to have just a tad more punch, thanks for taking the time to RP, its always great to see someone else's perspective

It's just one persons take on the image Brendon.

I think I've seen this one before Brendon, albeit a while ago, still love it - you have an awesome collection of leopard images mate. Your OP rocked, though I think Steve's lifted it a notch with his repost.
