Hi Sandy, my thoughts are.....it's a beautiful image. Nice use of a foreground with the tidal pool on a diagonal taking the viewer to the rear of the scene. The reflected colors in the pool are beautiful also along with just enough sky shown. The silhouetted shoreline is also a plus. I like it all...well done!

    Sandy,

I agree with Dave completely. Please update with the Camera used, shutter speed and aperture. All are important as it relates to DOF and other factors.

    Here are the specs,
Canon 7D, ISO 250, because of on camera flash used to lighten rocks. 1/30sec at f 13, 16mm on 10-22 lens.
    Hope this helps.

I too really like the colors and composition. The diagonal of the rocks and pool are perfect.

I like your composition here, Sandy, as well as your use of the pool for reflections. Nice mood in the light too.
I do feel you oversaturated the sky colours a bit, as something just looks "off" with it??
Perhaps toning down the yellow and blue just a tad will help?

Hi Sandy, lovely scene and beautifully composed. I agree with Morkel's assesment on the sky.

    Beautiful foreground.

I think the image is stronger in the repost. The sky looks odd and the mountains take away from the foreground in my opinion.
