    Taken at the zoo last year. Not the best HA, but liked the colors and happy look to this Common Shelduck.

    Hi Brendan, excellent exposure on the blacks of the head and neck, and the red of the beak. I do like the texture of the water too. Its always difficult to get a decent shot when you are at the zoo, due to distracting BG's, but in this if you hadnt mentioned it, we would not have known.

    I know, I've been busted once or twice crossing over ropes, trying to get better angles and BGs!

    Looks good. I agree about the HA, but exposure, details, colours all look good. Perhaps either a bit more in front or less behind would be good.
