    Default Wilson's Plover on defense

This little fellow went into a defensive posture when a Semipalmated Plover intruded on his personal patch of sand. They were too close to me to get both birds in the same frame. Little Estero Lagoon about 3 weeks ago. C&C appreciated.

Very well done and in what must have been fairly bright light. I like the nice aware pose, clean complimentary bg and low shooting angle. The little stick adds a lot as well.

Bill, very well shot at such a low angle. You made it look so easy!

Bill, I like this a lot. Nice bg and pose of the bird. I'm impressed by the beak on this bird. Well done.

Hi Bill, excellent low perspective, and good to see a different pose from the norm. Good DOF on the plover, sharp and the feather detail shows up very well.

Neat pose, and I like the story behind it. Nice eye. The crouched posture could justify a bit more crop form above, and I do wish you were a tad higher to preven the FG from skimming the seaweed.

Thanks, everyone, for the feedback. Yes, Daniel, a little higher might have been better in this instance.
