I was reading a book on close up and Macro Photography and saw that he author suggested a Canon 500D close up lens. I have a nice Macro lens for both my Canon and my Oly but did not have one for my Pentax and wondered, since this is a sort of filterlike lens that screws into the filter grooves on the lens, could this be used on my Pentax or can it only be used on a Canon?
thank you
maria
The Canon 500D close-up "lens" is just like a normal filter and can be used on any lens with filter threads. Get it in the same size as your normal filters, if it comes in that size. if not get it in the next larger size and use a step-up ring. Takes a little getting used to but works quite well.
Thank you so much. I suspected that was the case but could not find any information to back up my assumption.
It sounded like a fun thing to play with. I see Amazon has just the right size so I shall order today.
Again , thank you
