Hello everyone. Went out the other day before sundown to see what I could shoot. I found this lovely lady just floating around with her eyes closed. Never opened them while I was there and floated real close.

Hi Robert, getting your subject close is always a bonus. Love the low angle. As Dan always says, try making the 'phissst' noise to hopefully alert the subject and open their eyes. I like your soft pastel blues of the water.

Well the duck was obviously not afraid of you. It's nice to have gotten a napping pose in such nice light. I would imagine you were able to capture a few with open eyes as well but it's nice to see you chose to post this different look.

Stuart, not sure if you were talking about me but I was going to suggest a pishing noise when I first viewed the image. Nice details and light. I would only prefer an even lower angle, even though I realize it may not have been possible.

Great shot and I like the low shooting angle. The light is great too.
