I gotta say, the thumb does not do the image justice. I was pleasantly surprised when viewing the image at full web size! Great techs...f/14 was the perfect choice. Pretty sharp too at 1/50s., good thing these guys can stand very still! If anything, the OOF vertical twig next to the far bird's head could go - for some reason it keeps grabbing my attention.

    Really nice.
Those eyes are great, I agree about the thumbnail, i was surprised to see Two!
You nailed both of them and the habitat around is excellent.

Wonderfu shot. Love the pose on both owls. Excellent detail and lovely light.

Hi Grace, great double, and both nicely tucked in, and framed between the grasses. I really like the direct eye contact from the owl at the back, and both in focus and sharp.

You did great with getting both birds in focus. Agree on the OOF branch but, if it were mine, probably wouldn't remove it. This capture truly depicts their environment well.

I find owls' eyes riveting & this is no exception. I never even saw the OOF branch until it was mentioned. I really like the loose feather to the left of the owls. Great capture.

Beautiful image and both are in focus. Cute little guys for sure.
