    Hello to all of you!

    Here is a shot taken in January 2010. I was quite lucky!


    Canon EOS 50D Sigma AF 800 mm F5.6 + TC 1.4X - 1/100s f/7.1 iso800 Kept 74% of the original.

    My sole regret is to have went down a little slope that prevents me to see its talons in the snow.

    I like the HA and eye contact wish you had more room in the bottom. head looks a bit soft.

    Great low angle, but I agree getting up just a little higher would have been ideal to show the talons. I'm OK with the room at bottom but find the comp tight at top, and yes the head is soft compared to the body. Love the grasses, flared tail, and beautiful BG.

    Good looking hawk and a pose we do not often see. I like the snow and stuble from the field. I think you are correct that the biggest nit is no feet. Still very nice. A bit more sharpening and room at top would work for me.
