Haven't posted in a bit...my recent wedding (woohoo!!) and subsequent move into a new house kinda got in the way!!
Between feeding frenzies a Snow Bunting relaxes atop a fresh snow bank. It was very cold and quite windy that morning with lots of fresh powdery snow...a perfect formula for snowdrifts being formed in open areas such as these farmlands. I got a bit lucky when this individual paused momentarily on one of those drifts.

. Love the Snow Bunting against the snow bank. Beautiful little bird, and beautifully exposed.
