We just returned from a terrific, amazing trip to the Galapagos. You can see all the photos on my site, including many endemic species.

All the Galapagos photos were taken with a 40D. The animals were taken with a 100-400 lens, and the landscapes with a 17-85 lens.

Comments welcome on all of the photos. Thanks.

It seems to have been a productive trip. I look forward to seeing more of your images. I like the pose and details in this one. What is in the BG left of the foot, some turtle?

Yes, it's a sea turtle. Thanks, Axel. I'm looking forward to any comments you may have about the other Galapagos photos.

    Excellent....Lance.
The image has such rich vibrant colors. The whites on your bird has great detail and got to love that eye...:D

Hey Lance, very nice photo...looks like the Booby is posing for you! I wish the wave cresting above the head wasn't there, but still very neat image!

    Hi Lance,

A classic pose with a good exposure and details. The sea turtle has to go to isolate your main subject even more. Love the blue BG.

    Keep them coming!

The Galapagos Islands are an amazing experience. Looking forward to seeing more images from the trip! Very nice pose and good framing. The light seemed a bit bright, but you held detail in the whites. I'm thinking that the "turtle" is a marine iguana.....

Wonderful image of a species you don't get to see too often. I like that you managed to keep the background waves from intersecting the head. Can't wait to see more of you images from this magical place.
