Nice soft light, perfect exposure, great pose and sharpness.
It must be so cool to get to see this bird this close. For the pose, placing him further to the right in the frame might work too.
    Nicely done.

Sidharth, you were right, a bonehead crop mistake, it should be moved to the right.
Arash, maybe a tad cw, this is the next frame, cropped as it should have been.
thanks for the comments and critiques.

Absolutely super shot but I think it is overexposed and a tad too bright, I think if you go to the raw and reduce exposure and brightness a little bit you will see a marked difference. I appreciate I may be out of kilter here as many recent images posted appear a tad bright to me. ( My screen is correctly calibrated)

A beautiful image, Dan. Detail and exposure look good. The repost addressed the composition and rotation mentioned. Did you sharpen the repost more aggressively? I seem to see artifacts which are not in the original (or it could be the image compression done by the ISP I'm currently using).

That repost is killer. What was he doing standing there? Nice details in the feathers.

Great shot of this eagle Dan. I like the repost crop, the IQ and exposure look a little better in the op.

Wonderful shots. They are both great, but I like the repost better. Love the comp, pose, and exposed very well.
    Well done.
