It's hard for me to overlook the much-maligned C. Goose, a highly photogenic and ubiquitous subject. Particularly sweet in the later afternoon's honeygolds. As for the geese, their green and fetid droppings pepper the pedestrian boardwalk, but I love them all the more, perhaps even because of their pesky omnipresence. If you have any comments, I'd be glad to hear them...

Thank you, Wendell...I waited around for as long as the light was there, hoping the goose would do something delightful, e.g. spread its wings out or sing me an aria, but no dice...I'm as guilty as anyone for sometimes overlooking this truly photogenic bird...that late-afternoon light agrees with him very much...the different browns and so on...anyhow, thanks for writing.
Nice shot Jack. The very first bird photograph of mine was Canada Goose. If you haven't, try to
get shots of their babies. I love how they're yellow and look nothing like an adult.
