Dude i didnt really know you were such a good at this. I am sure now you will be with me on saying the canon combo proved a lot better than your old ;)

This is the best image i've seen from our part. A bit tight frame. May be adding some more canvast would help to my taste.

Well done, great light on this awesome bird nice pose as well. Great job adding the wing tips, I couldn't see where your cloning started.

Excellent image! I like the fanned tail, out stretched talons and lighting. Great cloning job on the wing. I tried a version with the blacks and neutrals in selective colour bumped up a bit and it made the eagle stand out more.

Mital - Agree with you mital but comparing 400 5.6 with 50-500 siggy would be totally unfair. agree with the shadow detail part, thanks a lot for sharing your 7D settings.
Thanks for your suggestions jim will definately try that out, and also will seriously start post processing from now on - that has been our new year resolution for years though

A beautiful image great timing and your Photoshop skills are excellent. The frame is tight but it works for me, the image looks very dynamic. A shot to be justifiably proud of in my opinion.
