Killer BG Simon, nice and sharp with fine detail. One suggestion maybe to tone down the OOF rock.

Fantastic looking lizard, agree with Marc's comments and would definitely try to reduce the effect of the OOF rock.

Hi Simon, well it ticks all my boxes for colour, clarity & detail, with an excellent BKG which helps separates the subject.

Personally I find it a little too close to the RH edge and would like to have had more DOF to include the front leg/claw, but then your SS would have become an issue and ISO increased. With hindsight I might have zoomed out a bit more based on the posture. To me, having both front legs in view, albeit one OOF would help convey that feeling of clambering up and the head peering over, as if he/she had just scaled a small cliff, if that makes sense. I assume this was HH (Hand held)?

Thank you all for your comments. He wasn't hand held, there is quite a population at the gardens that are fairly used to people, and sometime allow a close approach.

Sorry Simon, I was suggesting it was the camera rather than the Dragon as I missed it in the intro text.
