    Hi Again Everyone,
Here is another one of my flight shots from Boundary Bay near Ladner B.C. There were a couple of these guys around along with the other raptors. I am assuming by the coloration that this is a female.

    Stats: Canon 1D Mark4, 500mm with 1.4X, ISO-400, 1/2500 at F/5.6

    Take care and good light,

    Steve

nice pose and wing position, looks noisy for low ISO, was the original underexposed?

Nice work Steve. Might sharpen the face a touch.

Nicely done Steve. Very sharp and I like the very realistic colors and tones. I am surprised that you got such a nice shot as I have not seen any Se'd Owls around a for a while.

    Hi Dave,
Thanks for the comment. You wouldn't think there would be as many around where I took this shot either. She is in direct competition with the Snowy Owls and is taking quite a chance in hunting in their territory. It's quite the place what with 25 Snowy's and several Harriers and of course their are also scores of Eagles.
