    Default Simplified Owl Fracted!!

    Dave used fract many ways and inspired many of us... here is one from me. I used multiple filters Topaz Adjust with local settings followed by Topaz Simplify on a separate layer and Fractalius Glow 50 on another layer. Used mask on each layer to recover portion of the images and then adjusted the opacity of the layers to get this effect. Hope you like it...

    It looks like this owl is posing for you! The stems and seed heads fanning out in the back seem to be creating a kingly backdrop. I might take a bit off the bottom and also darken the sand. Nice post processing of this attractive owl.

    Nice work Indranil, agree sand could be a bit darker. Or maybe a slightly different crop...but I love the resulting composition and color...I love these little Owls...well done

    Indranil, I really like the filtering. I agree about darkening the sand. My favorite part of the image are the stems radiating from his back - it almost makes him look like a peacock
