    This shot was taken in Cuba last spring. It was only 8:00am but the light was already getting strong. I darkened the image a bit and sharpened a little more than usual (trying to overcome my fear of oversharpening). I cloned out a floating coconut from behind the bird and another bird from in front also a bit of saturation

    Canon 7d, 500f4, Handheld 1/3200 f6.3 ISO400

    Terrific pose showing his signature bill nicely, and I like the comp. Light is strong but doesn't look too harsh on my screen. I can't quantify it but it feels to me like a tiny bit of CCW rotation wouldn't hurt.

    Nice image Mike! I like the wing position, lighting and composition. Agree with Bill on a bit of CCW rotation.

    I liked this one as well. Really nice light, pose and subject angle. sharpening, colors...everything looks good to me.
