I've been busy with work and have had little time to get out photographing for the past 10 days or so. Yesterday morning I finally got away and went to my favorite spot on the west coast of Florida - Ft. DeSoto Park. The laughing gulls are just beginning their breeding season there, and the next several weeks will offer great photo opportunities for gulls, terns and skimmers. Red knots were there yesterday along with the usual cast of ospreys, peeps, herons and egrets. Try to get by Ft. DeSoto if you can.
