Beautiful fract effect, Kieth. I like the pose and intense look. I also like the colors and the clean effect of the filter. This could also go vertical or a closer crop with a bit off the left. Excellent processing and TFS!
Love the bird, the look, the effects, and the soft light. As presented I would take a bit off the bottom.

Wonderful detail and frac processing, Keith. BG is perfect and I agree a vertical crop would work, also.
I agree with the above comments about the crop. A closer crop would focus more on the dramatic hawk and would fit well with the way the wings go out of the frame. I like this processing--dramatic and effective--goes well with the frontal position of the Hawk. Lovely colors.
Thanks, all. Here is a square crop and it does seem to work better.
I agree--the second post works better. Now, the whole focus is on this marvelous bird!!! I wonder if you might want to put a bit of color into the light background areas around the top?
Keith, I'm going against the group on this-sorrybut I like the OP as is with just a sliver off the bottom and right. Great use of the filter and a wonderful capture!
Ah, I had not considered a near-square crop but I am loving it for many reasons.

Hi Kieth, I do like the repost with the crop suggestions applied, but I also lean more toward preferring the original post with the extra space on the left. Very nice use of Fractalius too!
