Vivaldo - nice walking pose, good color. Only wish for a lower pov but I know that is often not possible.

    Vivaldo,

Perfect techs and excellent pose. Regarding composition, I kind of felt the path way is taking my attention out of subject a bit. I cropped it little tight into a verical. Let me knwo what you think.

    Vivaldo,

Can you explain why you used flash on this image?

Like Sid I find the road to be very obtrusive, but then I am famed for not liking roads in my images.

The crop bothers me as well as for my eyes there is too much space behind the Leopard , I would have prefered it at the front.

Hi Vivaldo, I would agree that the composition perhaps is not ideal, but Sids RP certainly strengthens the image and gives the Leopard more character and presence. Another example of, if you have time, shoot both formats Was this early evening, hence the flash?

Might be tempted to drop a little of the magenta in the Whites, which helps in the coat & road. Nose & mouth look a little red rather than that pink, WDYT Vivaldo?

Nice eye contact in this walking pose Viv, I like Sid's RP with just a bit more walk in room. The subtle use of flash here works for me

Thanks for comments and suggestions Sid your comp improves the image and like the others here, I prefer it to the OP. Ken unfortunately there was no light, very late afternoon. I think flash can help in some situations ESP if the BG is very bright but to be honest prefer leaving it in the camera bag

Steve I tried getting rid of cast yesterday. The lighter areas were very blue but wasn't happy with results I got. Thanks for suggestion, will try again later

Hi Vivaldo, not 100% sure, looks like a slight 'green' coming through, will take a look, although away again so...

Hey Vivaldo this had -10 applied, then a slight adjustment in Colour balance, however it has lost some of the nice warmth of the Leopard although I feel it was slightly too saturated, so perhaps revisiting that adjustment you originally applied to your RAW file might be worth a look at too. Never really like to adjust images when away on the MacBook Pro as the image can vary so much on the angle of the screen even with the calibration strip at the foot, but hope this may help.

    cheers

Hi Steve, looking at my adjustment, agree with greencoming through, most properly adjusted too much. Your last post looks verysimilar to the OP.

Hi Vivaldo, open both in PS and overlap the images so the OP is below so you can compare, there is a definite difference, albeit subtle and that's all it needs I think, does the body have a 'cleaner look' slightly more detail, wish I was there to show you.

Vivaldo, each image may require a slight/subtle adjustment in a different way ie Saturation, Colour balance etc etc... it's not always an exact route.

    Good luck.

Hey Vivaldo. Lovely leopard. I think Steve's last post has the best overall colour to my eyes, and I like both crops (vertical and OP).
I agree flash can help a lot but I prefer shooting without it if I can.
