Outstanding Peter, This say's Africa all over it and so well taken, the dust movement and the red setting makes this just perfect

    Hi Peter,
Very nice and great mood. 2 things............on my monitor looks a little dark.......will be interesting to see if others see it dark. #2.........CCW rotation of about 1.5 degrees.........as it looks leaning right. These are easy and minor fixes and I love the overall look and feel,
    Roman

It is a very stunning image. Africa! But it does seem a bit dark and needs the rotation. Perhaps just a matter of tastes. Visually however, stunning! Well done.

Evocative the Kalahari, Peter, and reminds me how I miss it. A lovely image that would be enhanced with a little rotation and brightening.

David and Roman .I agree totally about rotation and lightening I realized after I posted the image....must pay more attention in PP. I have reposted with your observations thanks again for taking time out to comment....

David thinks its time for you to plan a trip back to SA....at least the Kalahari hasnt changed.....:)

Beautiful shot Peter! The repost is awesome. The only thing that leaves me with some questions is the stuff in the BG, not that I don't like it but I can't really make heads or tails of it.....Are those dust clouds or just normal clouds or bushes. In any case gorgeously done! Congrats

Thanks Krijin you are very kind....

the ''stuff '' in the BG is OOF Blue Pea bushes which look like puffs of dust / clouds with some nice light on them...

Rest assured I'll get back to the Kalahari as soon as is possible, Peter, but the life of an expat is very difficult with four week's leave a year and lots of family to see. Meanwhile, you and all the South African guys on BPN are doing a great job of keeping me in touch with my perfect mistress! There have been some wonderful Kalahari raptor shots just recently as well. I think it was the late, great Leslie Brown who said the Nossob Valley of the Kalahari is the best place in Africa to see raptors. . . .

I was going to mention the same things Mr. Steele did before I read through the post.

Other than those minor tweaks this image is very strong.
