I am fine with the composition. I love the expression with an open bill.

Is this a large crop? It seems a bit noisy especially on the eye and the bare patch. The display feathers seem to be suffering owing to possible background cloning or noise reduction or both.

I always remember seeing an image of this bird in an encyclopaedia when I was a kid. The bird facinated me then and it still does now.

A superb portrait, like the open beak, BG and sharp eye. I also think that there's a lack of feather detail.

Wonderful shot. Great background, I like the comp, and raised head feathers, but I too agree on the feather detail.
    Well done.

Hi Ramesh, a pleasing comp, and I do like the crest display and open beak. Apart from the comments above, maybe a touch more contrast.
