Stunning pose with a bug no yet. Love the BKGR, and the drizzle. For the repost: a small crop from the bottom and 50% Tonal Contrast from NIK's Color Exex Pro 4 on the bird only.

Wow! Absolutely amazing. I have never seen an image of a southern ground hornbill off the ground. To get one on a branch, with wings up and bug in mouth is wonderful.I like the rain and the wet feathers as well. I like your OP composition but with Artie's NIK applications,
    Gail

As always its great to see your photos improve through well considered insights. The added contrast works a charm but I'm with Gail on the composition.

What an image, Stephen! Fantastic pose, perch, bg and comp. The food item is icing on the cake.
It's probably just his wet look, but it looks like the blacks have a bit noise (which is imaginable given iso 1600).
    Terrific image.

Excellent pose and nice details, great BG. I prefer 3:2 AR in the original.

No problema; for me it was an insta-crop :). For several reasons. But you pushed the button so you get to decide.

Hi Stephen, fantastic image, love the perch, catch and upright wings. I also like the detail on the bird.

Killer image ...love it to death. It is a pitty that the rain drops have been softened by NR if the same has been applied but my jaw dropped on seeing this so maybe I can live with a few soft rain drops:). One for the wall!
