Hello Everyone.
I have been into photography as a hobby for most of my life. I got my first camera as a teenager (Kodak Instamatic 126) and graduated to film slr in my mid twenties. I have always enjoyed nature and until my first dslr, struggled at photographing it. Thanks to the shoot first and learn later possibilities of the dslr I was finally able to get much closer to the quality photos I had always hoped for.
I live in an area that sees very little bird and mammal species variation, so most of my photography is done away from home. Occasionally we get lucky here and find a species of interest close by, but not often enough. My job takes me to a lot of different places (mostly southern Ontario) and I try to do some birding or other form of nature photography along the way.
I'm happy to be able to share my images with everyone here, many names I recognize and Idolize from other sites. I hope I can keep up to the standard here.
