Default Tribute to Dave, Pet Artwork

Next week is "Tribute to Dave" themed artwork, I had the pleasure of being a member at same time as Dave and seeing many of his images. He loved pet images. I am sure Cooterville is now on the map because of Dave.

This is our newest member of the family Sadie, using the fotosketcher effect, to convert it to a painting.

Sadie is a Mastador, rescue dog, we adopted. She shouldn't get that big, she's only 1/2 Bull Mastiff and 1/2 Lab.... She's now almost 5 1/2 months old and weighs in at a tiny 58 pounds....

She's so docile and friendly, unlike any dog we've had at her age.

Fortunately, I can now get out with her, starting Monday. Check out my blog (link below) for details on heart procedure.

Good to be here. Ciao for now.

Paul, nice job with the portrait. He looks like he's going to be a nice addition to your household. (I hope you have a big doggy door ) I'm really glad you're doing well. I read your blog - it's amazing that they put the cath in a vein in your wrist - modern medicine is incredible. Hopefully that will fix you up as good as new.

Paul, I'm glad to hear you're doing well along your road to recovery and health...and it was a fascinating story on your blog! Handsome looking dog...look at those paws!...he's going to be a gentle giant, I think.

Paul, great to hear that things worked out fine and you are doing well. Great way to start the theme... beautiful portrait and effect. Dave would have certainly loved it... TFS

Paul, Glad you are doing well. This for some reason does remind me of Dave, he is missed very much. I love dogs and Sadie is going to be a great addition to your family. I might clean up the adging around the top of her head before printing. Nice job.

So glad to know you've had a successful (and amazing) procedure. Yes, the second camera must have been a Nikon. :-) Your pup is adorable! I'm not too keen on the post processing you chose, but that is personal preference. Now that you have a dog you will have to go for those healthy walks!
