Terrific wing spread, fanned tail and head angle. I'm of two minds about the bright BG; I wonder if the bird would pop a little more if the BG were toned down a few points.

Bill took the words right out of my mouth. The whites in feathers are a bit hot as well,

Excellent as usual. The quality of the bird is remarkable, perfect wing position and fanned tail.

Impressive! If it was mine I would just tone down the background a tad.

What I love most about this shot is the ceiling above the bird...it's so nice to see a foliage-and-sky background (or overhead) and as far as I'm concerned, that's what takes this shot "to the next level" as the kids say...if I had my druthers I too would tone down the BG by just a wee hair...

A truly GREAT shot Alan! Congrats! I agree about a atad toning down the BG and the whites but that's just a nit on post-treatment. An overal impressive shot!
