Image is from Norway. Data 1D MK III, 500mmL, 1/80, ISO 500, F 5.6. Now I wait on the first migratory birds. The end of February or early March is the first place.C and C are welcome

Image appears to be slightly front focused to my eyes. Maybe another round of sharpening on the eye and back portion of the head. I like the low angle...Are you in the water?

Is this better. I lie on the beach. but the waves broke over where the bird were and me. So it was a cold and wet photographer who went home.

I love the repost, excellent exposure and details. I think the close up was very intentional but for me just a tad too close.

Hi Geir, getting wet has paid off with this low angle. I like the light quality, together with the detail and colours on the sandpiper. Good sharpness where it counts for your slow ss.
