    Default Inca Dove

    Hello everyone.

It's been a looonnnggg time since I don't post a picture here. Lots of other things keeps me busy to go out and shoot. Life is funny, first I don't have the equipment, then I have some gear but no car to go the places where birds are, then I have the gear and car but no time... as Arthur says: you gotta love it...

I made this image last month at 10:45am, yes, that's not the right time to shoot, especially the one have so harsh light. That's why I used fill flash. This is not my typical aspect ration but for this species I had not much in mind since it would yield a lot of empty room on top. Suggestions please!

Nice image Juan! There is not a lot of crop options for this long side view. I would have cropped this the same way you did. I like the sharpness, HA and walking pose. I would remove the second catchlight from flash.

Good job taming the harsh light. Light looks very warm to me, even in the background.

These are lovely doves, and you captured it nicely. The crop works for me. I agree the image looks very warm.
