Mitch, This is my favorite of yours so far, it's magical! I even like the halo effect around the main light it resembles a ship wheel. Very nice processing. The only minor clean up would be on the left side there looks like a dark streak or two. Great job and a wall hanger for sure!!

Thanks Denise. I have to see if I can hide the streaks in the lower left. Not sure where they came from...

    Thanks Indranil,

The boat was taken about 28 years ago, and is from a B&W negative. I was looking for something to set against the sky and found it right on top of a pile of old negs.

Hey Mitch....You really knocked it out of the park with this one! I love everything about it. The star effect really worked with this image! Way to Go!

I also really like this one Mitch. The stars and the twinkle effect on the water surface really work well together. Great detail in the sky and boat, too. Really a lovely image!

Terrific work Mitch, top-notch all the way. Love the sunset (sunrise?) on the water and the way you placed the boat on the water. Your use of the star effect is perfect. I also love the poetic reference and the feeling that the captain is navigating using that brightest star in the sky.

    This is very nice Mitch,

I like your artistic license to show both daylight and the stars at the same time.
