    Very nice capture, I always like the swimming away looking back pose, Nice sharp eye really stands out, the western and clarks are amoung my favorites. Well done..

    Nice look back and angle. The swimming away pose is not ideal and I would sharpen the head more.

    Love the head turn !!! Might lighten the beak just a bit Light was from your left but did light the eye nicely !!!! Just softer light would have made it better !!! ...they are there all year..... but they sure like to hide when I''m there !!!!!

    The big pond on the right before the turn seems to have them

    Hi Gary,

    I did some work in this:
    Cropped from the right and added canvas to the left. Selected and multiplied the whites in the neck. Selected and lightened the bill. Selectively sharpen the face a bit and added black to the neutrals and blacks in Selective colors.

    There's tutorials on how to do mos of what I did here in the Edu Resources Forum.
