There where three of them in my garden. I only see them on the winter when they come down to the south of sweden. They look lovely glowing so read in the sun sitting at the top of the tree. But I think it is quite hard photographing the bullfinch to get a sharp eye that shows and the beek and managing to get all the feather details.

Beautiful bird Patricia with an excellent perch although I may tone it down a few points. The BG really compliments the colors of the bird nicely. Very nicely done!
I think you have a fine shot there Patricia. I would suggest you have another try at the raw processing, onlooking at the histogram the image is pushed to both ends, i.e. the darks are a little too dark and the lights are a little too light. I have done a reverse curve on the jpeg and it helps but I think going back to the raw will give you a super image.
Sumptuous! I would apply a little less sharpening to the plumage. These are common birds where I am but not easy to see in the open like this. Nice portrait.
