    Default Frost 2

Another shot of window frost. 5D II, MP-E 65 mm at about 3X, 6 sec, f/10, ISO 100, tripod, RRS focus rail, mirror lock, cable release. I used NIK Viveza 2 and Color Efex Pro 4 to increase contrast (black background/whitish crystal). Then I applied the Negative (RGB) preset in curves (CS5), followed by adjustments in hue-saturation and levels to produce the white background and blue color tones. All comments are welcome and appreciated.

Steve, I can't decide which one I like better but the series is fantastic. Love the processing and thanks for sharing your technique.

Late to the party, Steve..but I echo the comments above. Nicely seen, beautifully processed...it almost looks like a icified (I know, I made that up...) fern leaf!
