I like the way this giant is coming in for a landing and the way these fellows are awaiting in anticipation for the final touch down.

Your comments and advice are appreciated.
PS, I was focusing on the approach bird and this is +- a full frame and have no canvas at the bottom

Stunning pose, light, bg and sharpness, Chris. The spectators take this up a few notches. Love it. Bit more canvas at the bottom would have been sooo cool.

    Chris,
This is really nice. I like the birds at the bottom but would also really like this as a pano without the bird heads. Light is terrific and beautiful wingspread. I see some artifacting just below the bird's right wing ( like a white line) in the green clump. I also find that the BG has a ground glass appearance. Is this noise or shimmering heat?

What a delightful capture. I like the chicks and the pose. You caught the moment and with a sweet OOF background.

I like the incoming bird very much.....would have liked a bit more of the base birds for it to work for my tastes. Greeat light and BG.

I like the foreground a lot :-) perfect timing on this one. and so low percentage considering the HAs of the spectators. 'once in a blue moon' kinda shot. agree that more of the spectators wud be nice...but nothing you could've done. as good as it gets in-camera comp.

The incoming bird is perfectly exposed and detailed. I love the 'not so happy to see you' looks coming from the four on the bottom. It looks like the membrane was down on the eye of the second bird from the left, might fix that.

Absolutely superb image - love it. I would suggest toning down the highlights a little it makes an significant difference in my opinion.

Hi Chris, excellent timing, and you have captured a great wingspread. Sharp throughout, and I too like the inclusion of the spectators. Your repost looks even better.
