I was at Ding Darling Thursday 2/6 and was disappointed. There were not as many birds as last year, and the birds that were there were far away for the most part which i guess was "luck of the draw". Actually I enjoyed Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve which is about 30 miles from Ding Darling a lot more. it is a boardwalk about 1.5 miles with a more diverse group of birds and wildlife.
