    Hi

    Close encounters with this guy in the garden at Finca Loco Natural, Playa Negra, Costa Rica

    I managed to get a bit closer than I thought possible, and yes perhaps a little higher f stop would have been better.

    Canon 7D 100-400 @ 400, iso 800, F 5.6 ss 1/200 reV +1.33

    Check out his weird tongue like a feather!

    Hi Richard, looks like you were battling for light, as if you had stopped down anymore, your ss would have suffered. That tongue sure looks like it could do some damage. Well exposed on the blacks, sharp where it counts, and I would maybe tone down the bright areas in the BG.
