I can see that you have a ball with the Snowy Owls this year. Another great picture, Arash.

classic portrait of an amazing species...also, I'm very fond of the BG above the owl's head. That is a sweet blue/white combo...nature's palette enriches us all...

Nice, soft pastels on this one Arash. The BG and weathered perch are perfect for this one.

Hi Arash, good eye contact here, exposure spot on, and I do like the detail and softer colours in the BG.

Another keeper! Agree that the BG above the head is sweet. The weathered perch adds as well. Good choice of composition as well,
    Gail

Very nice, Arash! I learned there is a Snowy owl irruption this winter inthe U.S. We also had tons of lemmings in the European arctic last summer. Lots of Rough-legged hawks and Short-eared owls in central europe now, but no Snowy owls.

Another beauty Arash. The bg does indeed go so well with this bird. Very nice comp, perch and stare. Great work.

Arash - great shot - love it. I wonder did you adjust the eyes- I know they are spectacular but just maybe possibly a tiny tad too yellow and contrasting pupils? I may well be wrong if so I apologise in advance.

    Thanks Jon,
I didn't adjust the eye, it was overcast so fortunately there was no shadow in the eye socket/pupil and the bright yellow came out naturally. It looks even yellower when you have direct sunlight striking the eye

    Thanks everyone for nice comments

A very special specimen for me, thanks for sharing it. I find the light, pose and details to be great. The perch is too overpowering though.
