This is another image from my set up in Costa Rica. I wish for more of a head turn but liked the attentive pose and full uniform view. It is still tight on the left side but already added a little canvas. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Costa Rica sure is good to you Jim. You have loads of great images, including this one - a Collared I think. Some might like a bit of a head turn but I like the rather intent stare the bird has. Techs are great, nice BG. A little more room on left might work.

I really like this and I think your title is excellent. I like the comp and the light and the BG and the fun pose. No nits from me,

Such beautiful shots of Toucans you have Jim. All are very brillant looking. I like the attentive and alert looking pose of this one as you mentioned. Great job.

A very nice and colourful picture, Jim. I also like (and would try) to add some canvas on the left.

Another beauty Jim. Such a colorful bird and you gotta love that beak! I like how the tail feathers and beak are pointing in the same direction.

Hi Jim, this pose really shows off all the colours, and each time I look at the images of this species you post, that beak is simply amazing. I can see this in a landscape comp too ( unless you captured this vertically )

Love it Jim. The perch, bird and bg are, of course, gorgeous. I don't mind the HA - his awkward stance makes it look like he's losing grip and his expression seems to convey it :)

Wow what a striking bird Jim, amazing bill. Nice IQ, detail and great colour management, particularly like the colouring above the eye. Great perch as well.

Jim this is a super image of this handsome aracari. I like the clean BG and pose. I also agree that the HA is not the best but the pose you got here is great so I'm fine with that little nit. On the other hand, I would have liked to see this image with a warmer light, I think is on the bluish side, nothing wrong with it, just an idea.

Thanks Juan. I just did a version warmed up a bit and I think it is better while still maintaining that blueish hue in the blacks. You have a beautiful country rich in nature and great people.
