    Hi Folks;

    Loved your comments, and to show you I listen, at the moment Anna is unde the knife in surgery having the wing replaced. Too bad Doug Brown is in Costa Rico (good for him) as he could supervise Anna's breathing while put under. Her recovery will be in new surroundings fitted out by Mr. Onion, background specialist, and she will be receiving visitors at BPN in 24 hours.

    In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated by you know who.

    Hi Folks;

    Latestes news is I am resting in my new red onion room created especially by the punjent Mr Onion, decorated with your generous lieu of flowers donation, and I'm anxious to try out my new wings. I want to view the beautiful posts that my neighbours are displaying, especially my favourite colour event.

    I want to thank everyone who suggested I needed a new wing. Also Pixel Bender for my new look

    Thank you for your anticipated kind words.

    Love, kisses & warm wings

    Anna c/o Gustaf W.A.B.I.

    Latest News; Must have got up Mr. Onion's nose, as he is stomping around repeating, "I am not Punjab." %#@*!

    Very creative, Gus, and it looks like Anna has made an excellent recovery! Nice job with the wing. Like the BG and added stylish graphic. You are really taking your art and humorous comments to the next level! Way to go!

    Hi Gus, love the whimsical treatment and text. I am going to be the bad guy here and say that the added wing looks too much like the other one for my eye... I would have taken the wing selection and used the "warp" tool to make it a little different from the original. At the very least, it should be rotated CCW to the same angle (only opposite) as the other wing. As for the composition, I would move the bird up and to the right so that it isn't covered by the graphic element.

    Hi Folks;

    Thanks, I consider OOTB a sota of place where, paintings are seen in the eye of the beholder, where you
    can exercise artistic license, sure composition is always a consderation, but not the painting. Dali ????
    Heavens to Betsy I would never post this in ETL! Not critisizing your comments Kerry, I love you, in fact
    only this morning your suggestions were brilliant for my last post in ETL

    There are no bad guys unless they call me "STUPID". Those are figting words, and I did all my fighting in
    1942 with a bunch of the greatest men & women it has been my pleasure to associate with. Now, I just ignore!

    Now I'll push my soap box back under the bushes at "Speakers Corner" in Hyde Park.

    Anna & I love this OOTB forum, great folks, lots of great suggestions, tips & most of all, it's always a fun place
    and at 88, I have found out that what is important through war & peace if that a sense of humor (Humour) is all
    encompassing.

    My cousin is arriving from Sweden today, so Anna, Gina & I are going to show her the sights.

    Taks . . .

    Adios

    Gustaf

    BTW: My fault for not including "PB Painting" in the title.

    Gus, I love the artistic flair of the first image. It would make a wonderful card. Your second post is nice too but I favor the first! Have a great time with your cousin.

    You know how I feel about your hummingbirds Gus! This has great clarity to it and the flourish around the bird and right side of the image really balances things nicely to diminish all that negative space. Beautiful work!
