Hi Joshi, I like the mood of this image, but would crop a little closer. There is a lot of empty negative space on top and right. The center weaving of the web provides a nice diagonal to lead the eye through the image, which will be enhanced in a closer crop. Shallow DOF but sharp in the right place! I like that the centre of the web is also in focus.

Hi Joshi........I agree with a closer crop but don't lose that nice sense of light and dark going on. I would also suggest more depth of field maybe f8.

Hi Joshi. This is a cool looking little spider and you got the focus right where it needs to be. I like that the web also shows up well. I would love to see this with more DOF. If this was mine, I'd be tempted to crop some from the top and left to move the spider closer to the ROT position. Overall, this is nicely done!

Joshi, I understand your reason for not wanting to crop away the BG but I think it can be done without losing much and I really think it will improve this image. Here's what I had in mind.
