    I like this a lot. Great neck twist on this beauty. I think the image would be even better had the heron just turned slightly, but that's my only nit.

    Good exposure and sharp detail. Although it is a different composition including so much of the neck, I like the stretched neck fishing pose you captured. Wish the head were turned slightly towards the camera. If this were mine, I would spend a little time on the bg on the lower rh corner...there is a prominent darker square there that should be blended to match the rest of the background.

    I think the composition works well, I like the intense concentration displayed in the birds eye.

    Great details, light and pose. More head turn toward you would have been nice but I like it as is.
