I used Pixel Bender oil paint, spherize and I can't think of the name of the other Pixel Bender plugin for the edge/background treatment. I also added a glow layer style around the sphere.

Really nice, Judy. That would look so cool made into one of those Christmas balls.
Or a garden globe/sphere. Very cool, Judy!! Really like the yellow/orange filaments.
Hello Judy, I like this a lot and agree that it looks like a "gazing ball". The glow and bg treatment make it resemble a mini-world. Nice one!

Judy, it reminds me of a gazing ball. I really like the fact that the filaments are showing on the side.![]()

Judy, Nice job with the creativity for this one. I too think it looks like a nice gazing ball!
Thanks everyone! I did that one when I went through my "hooked on spherize" phase summer before lastbut I don't think I ever posted it.
You are having such fun with these Lotus photos! I love what you did with the flower here--the side view with the center of the flower spilling out and the flower gently nodding to the left is striking! The post processing of it works really well. I'm less enthusiastic about the bg of the flower, the circle, and the radiating lines. The bg is a bit busy, the circle and lines too hard for the softness of the gorgeous flower. I wish the lovely work you did on the flower stood out by itself.
Thanks Anita, and for the suggestion. Maybe I'll get around to re-working it tomorrow or save it for later if not. It deserves another look because it is pretty unique.
